First prize in the international youth competition "Città di Stresa '94", Mattia studied with Sonick Tchakerian, graduating in violin at 19, then he brillianty specialized in Jazz Music with Paolo Birro and graduating later, in the same matter, with honors with distinction. He is the winner of the concourse "Fondazione Cassa Di Risparmio '99" in the context of a swing ensamble, but he also collaborated in classical music with Pietro D'Abano Orchestra, Orchestra Delle Venezie etc. performing in Italy and abroad even playing as first part and soloist. Violinist in the café-concert orchestras of Gran Caffé Ristorante Quadriin St.Mark Square in Venice, Mattia boasts his most important productions in jazz, appearing in remarkable  Italian festivals and kermesses, but also in pop and ethnic music. He collaborated with Tammy McCann (Ray Charles band), Jino Touche, Daniele Di Gregorio (Paolo Conte band), Bruno Cesselli, Tomaso Lama, Giampaolo Ascolese, Lino Brotto, Nicola Marsilio (Calicanto), Luca Campioni, Fondaco Dei Suoni, Fabio Rossato, uasar String Kuartet, Kelly Joyce etc.
